Dr. Martina Honsel has taken over the coordination of the Department of Informatics and Data Science at the Doctoral College NRW in recent months. In particular, she has supported Prof. Dr. Herpers (director) and Prof. Dr. Bartz-Beielstein (deputy director) in establishing the processes relating to doctoral studies at the PK NRW. In addition to her coordinating role in the Department of Business and Markets, she has dedicated herself to this task with great commitment.
She has contributed her 30 years of professional experience in IT at a company in the petroleum industry, her 5 years of professional experience in research and teaching at a university of applied sciences and her experience from her own cooperative doctorate (from 2018 to 2023). Her thesis “Messung des betriebswirtschaftlichen Erfolgs von Nachwuchsleistungszentren im deutschen Profifußball” can be found here.
Unfortunately, Dr. Honsel will be leaving the PK NRW on 31.03.2024 and going into retirement, which will perhaps remain a little more restless.
